I woke up today like I was leaving for a flight to New York City! I woke up with this great desire to get the day started.. I am currently making breakfast while Olive sleeps.. going to pack up the “beach bag” .. this is my first pack of the year.. so it is crucial.. this will be the bag that sits beside the door for the next 3 months.. with a little bit of complaining from Dustin I am sure.. and we will throw random fruit bars and blueberries in it before we head out for the day.. It usually consists of sunscreen.. sun tan lotion.. random toys that can get wrecked.. books.. sand and a couple bottle lids.. We are hitting up somewhere hot today with our peanut butter sandwiches*!
*oli bear had her first one yesterday and loved it.. and more importantly.. she ate it!
today will be our first epic.. yes I said epic beach day of the summer.. on a happy random side note.. Olive sings! oh yes.. I have caught her many a time now.. but God forbid I look at her and get excited.. oh no.. than she stops and putters away.. I have to pretend I am not excited.. and therefore.. it is not on tape :( she has this little caterpillar that plays songs and she pushes the same one over and starts to sing it.. and she yells yahyah to words she doesn’t know.. and when our crack Barney comes on.. she yells shake shake shake!! my mini me is turning into an entertainer.. just like her mama did when she was a young soul.. back when Fresh Prince of Bel Air came on and me and my sister grabbed our remote controls and entertained our parents for 3 minute commercial breaks..

and yes.. she went in to visit dada with that on.. crocks.. sunnies.. and a cute little touche
