TOMS..
I love toms.. I love these so much that I want to own them in every colour!!  I was first introduced to them about a year ago.. and for some reason.. took a year to buy them! and the worst part is.. they average only 50 dollars a pair.. and when you purchase one.. they donate a pair to a child that doesn’t have any shoes at all!! we also have them out as our wedding presents.. because.. why not! they are great for resort living.. casual walking.. they look cute with a dress.. and for people like me that live in a size 10 world.. they make your feet look small.. which.. if you are a person who lives in a size 10+ world.. you know how great this is..  not like the ugg boot which makes you look like you are a circus act.. (but I still will never give them up!) I just picked up a black pair for work.. my new serving shoe.. I have been rockin these giant danskos for a while .. and with the 35 degree weather here.. it is time.. and the cute guy that created the company doesn’t hurt the eyes either when checking out online! BUY A PAIR..
Me and Olive* went to the mall today bright and early.. because papa comes at 2:30 so I can go to work.. and you would be surprised how fast 2:30 rolls around.. there was barely anybody there.. and Olive rocked it for me..  she sat in her stroller through Target and Alderwood Mall.. just singing and talking to people.. and saying buh-eye to people as we left.. she never wanted out or fussed. and the back up milk bottle was not even required.. she let me try on 8 items at Forever 21.. (damn you forever 21 for taking all my money)  and hit up the shoe department..  it was a nice morning.. and we were blessed with air conditioning.. double bonus.. now she naps.. while I enjoy my hour and a half to prep dinners and bottles and lay out jammies and diapers so papa can coast through a nice easy Friday!
** it is funny because when I had the name Olive buried in my pocket.. waiting for a little girl to pass it onto.. I always worried that it would be shortened to Liv.. and I really wanted Oli.. but now having her.. I think I am loving Liv more now.. it kind of suits her better.. maybe if she was more outgoing and rough and adventurous.. it would suit my little surfer baby.. (although who knows.. one day it may happen) but for now she is sweet and delicate and it doesn’t take much to entertain her.. and it is kind of more suiting.. because she has only held ownership of the name for 19 months and 11 days.. she still goes by Olive.. but I am really hoping that her high school friends will tag her with that nickname.. ***
look at that sassy pants checking herself out in the mirror.. that is a Liv for sure!
