done and done..
and this is why I usually decorate early for holidays.. because when I am done.. I am done.. halloween decorations are put away.. and now the house will get a good scrub down in preparation for the next holiday ;) hmm. which one could that be!?
trick or treating was a huge success last night! seeing how we only have one other year to compare it to.. it wasn’t hard to beat.. Olive was sick and I still dragged her out in the pouring rain.. bundled of course.. and than she finished the night off by barfing on me.. but this year.. she was walking. and talking.. and could say “treat” and “chocolate”.. she was scared of the older scary costumes.. but loves all the chickens and princess running around.. she strutted her little hips around the town center meowing like a cat.. she even loved when I put the make up whiskers on her.. and never wiped it off!
me and Dust switched costumes for the trick or treating night.. and I went as big bird.. and I should have known better.. last year I was tigger.. and the kids went wild.. and this year.. I had moms coming up to me asking if their kids could meet me.. aka.. big bird.. I told them to be safe.. and eat their vegetables!!
the bear bear would walk for a little bit.. until she saw something spooky or was overwhelmed with the 3000 kids walking around.. and my arms today feel like i went to the gym! but it was worth it.. she was that darn cute!
we came home.. put her to bed..and got ready for our spooky night! we ordered our Chinese food.. which brings me to my next point.. I miss Canada’s Chinese food.. nothing compares to mandarin palace in mission.. nothing! and ours wasn’t that good.. and we couldn’t find the shows we normally watch.. so we ended up renting Scary movie 4.. and went to bed..
and now I sit in our rainey house.. still waiting for Olive to get out of bed so we can cuddle.. and than its off to work!
Happy November 01st everyone! 28 days until Olives 2nd birthday.. and we have lots-a-planning to do!
