olives birthday gift.. and she loves it.. 

today.. my sweet landlords are cleaning my carpets.. and that was not sarcasm ;) I don’t know what we will do for the day.. or if I am supposed to leave.. but they are getting cleaned just in time for the holidays! and than I am almost positive someone will spill some nice red wine on them :0 it happens every year.. to every house/apartment I have ever lived in.. and is usually because of Dustin.. :0

we are packing for the Canadas once again.. my grandmas memorial is on Saturday.. and now I am scrambling around the house trying to get organized.. I am such a scatter brain this year.. I still haven’t bought our advent calendars!! which is hard for me to admit..  me and Oli bear hit up the mall yesterday in search of many things.. but mostly.. this girl needed winter boots! and why oh why are all little girl boots pink or brown? I could not find anything.. I finally settled on some ugg boots.. and ugg stands for ugly in this case.. not sweet brown lambskin ones.. huge block like pink target boots.. it was hard to purchase.. but it was my 5th time out in a month to find her some lined booties.. and so .. they were purchased.. 

and speaking of shoes.. don’t even get me started on these gems.. 

we literally had 15 plus people stop us in the mall to talk about them.. and don’t even get me started in the cosmetic department at Nordstroms.. I essentially had babysitters while I shopped.. she strut her goods all over the place.. she could see them sparkle in the glass reflections.. and the mini mirrors that only the littles can find..  she knows they are special.. and I can barely get them off her.. we had to eat in them.. and walk around the house in them.. I am surprised I got her to bed with them off!!  she is slowly morphing into a little pink puff marshmallow.. it scares me.. yesterday she was sporting head to toe pink in Central Market.. I could hardly look at her ;)

and because of this thoughtful gift from Aunty Ew-eyya and inston.. uncy D and QQQQQQQQQ.. one sweet child in Africa is strolling around in a pair of pink glittery shoes.. well.. I like to tell myself that they also got a pair of these rock star gems!!
