I know that my poor husband always gets the crappy weather on his days off.. we made a joke of it last year.. and this year is following suit.. I am however welcoming this rainy morning with open arms.. my Folgers is brewing.. (and to think.. I used to laugh at those commercials!), olive is munching on some cheerios.. and I am in my Christmas thick organic cotton nightgown.. which reminds me.. I am in search of a beautiful cotton long nightgown… we are talking old school here people!
and while we are channeling Mrs. Jolie-Pitt.. lets throw this one in.. its one of my fav’s
we had a bbq dinner at Aunty Jens last night.. saying goodbye to Cameroonies parents.. they are some of the sweetest people you will ever meet.. but they are boating back to Australia.. so you probably wont ever meet them.. but we had a fun time celebrating their time here in the Americas..
I am now trying to find a place to trim Olives whisps.. because my attempt did not go as planned.. I assumed I would chop away and she would look so beautiful.. and I would question why I never went to hair school.. and I would start cutting my own bangs!! that was until the first snip sounded like razor blades cutting through clouds.. and I panicked..
oh well.. this one I will leave to the professionals.. well.. until its longer anyways..
time to drink some coffee.. and get ready for brunch with some lady friends:) our work friend is back in town and we are going to get an update on her cute little chubbers.. and the best part.. the daddy is closing tonight.. so I get to enjoy brunch baby free.. eating with two hands.. and who knows.. the food may even be HOT!!
